Douyu officially responded to the news that the working group of the Internet Information Department has been stationed in the supervision, saying that it will actively cooperate with the inspection and guidance of the working group of the Internet Information Office of Hubei Province, and earnestly follow the regulatory requirements. Carry out content correction and other work. 

At present, the operation of the Douyu platform is normal. Thanks to the attention and supervision of the public, Douyu will further optimize the content review mechanism of the platform, earnestly fulfill the responsibility of platform supervision, and create a healthier and more active online live broadcast environment.

According to the WeChat official account of "Netcom China", in response to serious ecological problems such as pornography and vulgarity on the Douyu platform, on May 8, the State Internet Information Office instructed the Hubei Provincial Internet Information Office to send a working <--> group to the Douyu platform for a period of <--> 1 month of “centralized rectification supervision".

 According to public information, Douyu TV (Douyu Live) is a game live broadcast platform and barrage live sharing website, which belongs to Wuhan Douyu Network Technology Co., Ltd. The company was established in 2015 and its founder is Chen Shaojie. On July 17, 2019, Douyu was listed on Nasdaq at an issue price of US$11.5, but its current market value is less than one-tenth of what it was when it was first listed, with a total market value of only US$345 million .

According to the 2022 annual report released by Douyu, the total revenue last year reached 7.108 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 22.44%; the adjusted net loss was 7.6 million yuan, which was significantly narrowed compared to last year's loss. In addition, in the fourth quarter of 2022, Douyu achieved revenue of 1.681 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 27.8%; among them, Douyu’s live broadcast revenue was 1.596 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27.7%.

 In terms of user data, in 2022, Douyu's average mobile MAU (monthly active user) will decline by 7.7% year-on-year. Among them, in the fourth quarter, MAU fell by 8% year-on-year, and the average number of paying users fell by 23% year-on-year.
